MOTERWRITER.COM reviews the latest hit book – Sufi Prayer & Love
Through this divine prayer we can overcome our failures & limitations
Dr. Ahmad Javid’s book ‘Sufi Prayer and Love’ is a deeply personal and enriching discourse on prayer and love for the almighty. It explains in great detail the intimate talk you should have in your life with God, this is also known as Salat (prayer). This prayer is a separate divine language on its own and will bring you closer to the Almighty. Sufism is just another name for the love of the divine.
There is a famous Sufi saying, "Previously Sufism was a reality without a name. Now it's a name without a reality." This quote itself purports the real meaning of Sufism. It goes beyond religion and religious rituals. It concerns itself with the love for the divine power and understanding and getting to know God better. Believers and non-believers who follow the English language now have an intuitively compiled text about prayer and the love for God. Dr. Ahmad Javid presents to you a systematic and detailed account of the mystical part of the Islamic faith.
Praise for the book –
“Sufism may be more widely recognizable today than what it was before but it still remains shrouded in mystery, with most people mistaking it for an extended part of the Islamic religion. I loved this book; it goes into great depths to explain to me about prayer and how to love God. The translations provided for the Arabic portions too were good.” – Alexandria, a reader
“This book is remarkable, Alhamdulillah! I would recommend this to everyone. A wonderful guide!” – Jallad, a reader
“A well written book. The writing concerning the prayers and about Islam is spot on. Easy to follow and understand. I was made aware of the beauty in the Islam faith that you don’t get to see in mainstream media; which is filled with news about the radical stuff.” – Sandy, an author
“Informative and easy to understand. It helped me make my prayer sessions more divine and spiritual.” – Chavez, a reader
Within a few days of its release the book has managed to captivate a lot of audiences as highlighted by the discussions centered around the book at a popular online book forum. A reviewer for Moterwriter.com said that ‘Sufi Prayer & Love’ isn’t an over written book and the precise writing and editing gives wonderful inputs to a newly convert Muslim and even a Muslim who thinks that they know everything about praying and their faith.
